The 5G PPP EC-funded mmMAGIC project published its second White Paper on the 14th of this month. This white paper outlines architectural concepts envisioned for mm-wave systems (i.e. those operating in 6-100 GHz frequencies), and discusses some of its crucial aspects of network integration within the 5G networks. A diverse range of topics have been covered in this white paper starting with a list of various use cases addressed in the project, to the subject of network slicing, multi-connectivity, mobility, multi-layer management and self-backhauling. More public materials are expected from this work package in near future. The white paper can be accessed from the project website here.
